Agape Food Safety and Coaching LLC is a two-pronged business that provides food safety consultation to the food industry and coaching to academic professionals. We offer transparent and open communication, compassion and empathy, comprehensive and critical listening, and timely response to all our clients.
Dr. Angela Walla (formerly Shaw) has been a professor of food microbiology for over 10 years. As a researcher and educator, she actively conducts research focused on FDA regulated products and provides education to the food industry. Outside of research, she helps food companies navigate food safety regulations and provides food safety education workshops and courses. Her portfolio includes over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, over 20,000 education and training contact hours, and over $20 million in federal and state grant funding.
As a tenured faculty member, she has been through the ranks at two R1 institutions and has guided over 100 faculty, staff, and students toward their career goals. She has held multiple leadership positions at the university, college, and department level and lead multi-institutional and multi-state funded centers. Her portfolio includes coaching in the U.S. and other countries.
